Rapid Strength, Next-generation Acrylic Adhesives
Our new Sika® ADP technology (Acrylic Double Performance) is a unique range of fast-curing, flexible, low odor SikaFast® 2-component adhesive systems. Based on advanced acrylic chemistry, it delivers a variety of process and performance advantages, without many of the limits associated with traditional acrylics. This user-friendly, solvent-free adhesive technology forms the basis for a new generation of Sika adhesives, which offer rapid strength development, outstanding adhesion, and optimal flexibility.
In its uncured state, SikaFast® is a non-sagging material with a paste-like consistency that enables precise and easy application. It is suitable for structural and semi-structural bonding of a wide range of substrates used in the assembly and trim shop, including metals, plastics, glass, and oil-coated steel.

Applications
SikaFast® is a 2-component adhesive system with a mixing ratio of 10:1. Component A contains a reactive monomer, which defines its mechanical and adhesion properties. Component B acts as the initiator for the curing reaction. Radical polymerization starts when the two components are mixed together with the aid of a static mixer. The system cures at room temperature.
