Sika Features Adhesive Innovations at 2018 Joining in Car Body Conference

Sika Automotive is proud to announce its participation at the Joining in Car
Body Engineering conference, being held at the Dolce Conference Center in Bad
Nauheim, Germany, April 10-12, 2018.

Representing Sika's continued involvement with the ongoing series of Automotive
Circle Conferences, will be Michael Gutgsell, Sika Automotive Manager for Body
Shop Adhesives.  His presentation, "Adhesive solutions for
efficient lightweight design - Progress, new requirements and future
trends" is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 at 2:10pm.

Choosing the "right" joining technology for every joint, without
driving costs or complexity in the body shop, remains a crucial challenge.
Viable solutions may lie in entirely new joining technologies, but more often
in technically widened application windows for established processes, or in
substantially improved efficiencies of "well-known" technologies.

As the need for joining lightweight materials grows, Sika automotive
products offer many technical advantages, including: retention of body strength
and stiffness; improvement in durability and crash test performance; protection
against galvanic corrosion and prevention of distortions due to different
thermal expansions of mixed materials, which can cause Bond Line Read-through
(BLRT).

As a solution provider with long time experience in sealing, bonding,
damping and reinforcing, Sika Automotive will present some real life
manufacturing cases using SikaPower®, SikaSeal® and Sikaflex® that reduce
complexity and increase performance.

Sika Automotive representatives look forward to meeting you booth number 2 to
answer your questions.
